Publisher's description: NANO Fiction is a non-profit biannual publication, with issues appearing in the spring and fall, that seeks to cultivate the genre of flash fiction by creating opportunities for emerging fiction writers to achieve national recognition through our print publication, website, and educational events.

We read submissions year-round and host an annual flash fiction contest May  through August. Our online programing includes The State of Flash & Flash Fiction in the Classroom, a series about current trends in flash fiction; interviews with former contributors and other publishers of the genre; writing prompts; and postings of selected stories from our print issues.
