Publisher's description: Sliver of Stone is a nonprofit online literary magazine. Our mission is to provide for a web-based environment for outstanding literary fiction, nonfiction, poetry and visual art from around the globe. We want to expand the influence of these genres beyond their traditionally academic audiences. Our editors are the talented progeny of the Creative Writing Program at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
