Publisher’s description: Tiferet is a literary magazine and global writing community at the nexus of literature and spirituality.
We publish high-quality poetry, prose, and art that further meaningful dialogue about what it is to be humane and conscious in today’s often divisive world. Past contributors include Ray Bradbury, Stephen Dunn, Alicia Ostriker, Jane Hirshfield, Ilan Stavans, Thomas E. Kennedy, David Lynch, Dawn Raffel, and many other well-known and new writers.
In addition to a well-respected magazine, we also offer a popular monthly BlogTalk radio show, Tiferet Talk, through which we have in interviewed Robert Pinsky, Julia Cameron, Ed Hirsch, Jason Jinen Shulman, Molly Peacock and many other authors and spiritual leaders. Some of these interviews were gathered in our first book publication, which won first place in Culture from the Readers' Favorite Awards and first place in Writing from the Pinnacle Achievement Awards.
Our annual writing contest awards $1200 in prizes in three categories: fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
All writers are invited to join our online writing community for free and post their own relevant writings as member blogs.
