In The Creativity Workshop you will generate both new work and seeds for the work you are in the midst of creating. We use many different techniques to help you find your way through the novel, essay, poem, memoir, or script you are writing or hope to write. In The Creativity Workshop you will do free writing, guided visualizations, collaborative writing, journaling, memoir and even some rudimentary drawing, collage and photography. University of Iowa School of Social Work will host its 21st
annual creative writing seminar for helping professionals. The
workshop is designed for people of all writing abilities who are
interested in using creative writing as a professional tool. The
four-day workshop includes lectures, writing time and critique
sessions in a supportive environment. Sessions focus on writing
techniques and the intersection of creative writing and human
service practice. The seminar coincides with the UI Library’s Book
