Publisher's description: Offcourse has featured the work of authors from the Far East to South America since 1998, many in the original languages, always with English translations. Our contributors write from Japan, Pakistan, England, France, Italy, Israel, Australia, and South America, as well as from Canada and most states in the USA; they range from high-school age to WWII veterans. In our 64+ issues, you find poems, poem cycles, haiku, short and not-so-short stories, essays, literary criticism, and book reviews.
Every issue is on the web. Pages are easy to navigate, with clear links between the issues, as well as links to the author’s biographical information and other work. Many of our contributors send art—often their own. Our pages load quickly and easily, even on mobile devices. We publish four times a year, selecting about 10 pieces for each issue. We prefer email submissions (see our guidelines on our website) as well as snail mail, and respond to all queries quickly.
