Publishing four issues per year from pieces collected during two open submission periods, the newest issue of Change Seven features fiction by Rebecca Andem, Joseph Ducato, Megan Lucas, Michelle Spencer, and Josh White; poetry by Randy Blythe, James Cochran, Robert Detman, Peter Grieco, Mark Hammershick, William Heath, and Virginia Laurie; non-fiction by Stuart Baker Hawk, Lillian Brion, Saila Kariat, Anna Oberg, and Joshua Thusat; and art by Kailee Bal, Lawrence Bridges, Greg Clary, Rachel Coyne, Mark Rosalbo, Max St-Jacques, and Karah Tull. The next open reading period starts June 1.

Change Seven – Summer 2021

It’s our hope this issue of Change Seven will offer readers solace. In addition to the wonderful essays, stories, and poems you’ve come to expect from the magazine, this issue features a sparkling conversation with Deesha Philyaw and Crystal Wilkinson, and stunning visual art from Boon LEE, Shelby McIntosh and george l stein. Fiction by Christopher Acker, Lauren Dennis, Mike Herndon, Kerry Langan, and more.

Change Seven is a volunteer-run online literary journal founded in 2015. They publish four issues a year featuring fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and artwork. Their book section features interviews with writers (by writers) as well as reviews.

They host two reading periods a year and are currently open to submissions through June 30. They do charge a $3 fee.

The Spring 2021 issue features fiction by Liz Başok, Eesha Dave, Naira De Gracia, Ann Liska, Eric Maroney, Olive Mullet, Ken Post, Shira Richman, Ellen Sollinger-Waker, and Sara Staggs; poetry by Melissa Helton, Ace Boggess, Megan Bracher, Heather Frese, Ryan Harber, Mary Imo-Stike, and Jane Sasser; with nonfiction by Susan Bonetto, Charles Clark, James Cochran, Susan Narayan, and Paul Rousseau.
