Community Books is a small collective of activists and book lovers who came together with the goal of opening a radical bookstore in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Co-founded by scholar-activists Modibo Kadalie and Janis Coombs-Reid, we are committed to becoming a resource for our community and to advancing the struggle for a better world.We are striving to create a community space where readers can find affordable books that reflect the issues, ideas, and experiences of Georgia’s diverse communities and beyond.
