Call for Submission for the PWPL 3-Day International Chapbook Contest

Registration Deadline: August 23, 2024, at 5PM EST

Registration is now open until Friday, August 23, 2024, for the Peter White Public Library (PWPL) 3-Day International Chapbook Contest with the theme “Room for Love.” No entry fee is required. The contest is open to the first 100 poets to register. The final judge is award-winning poet, Diane Glancy. The contest start date is Friday, August 30, 2024, at 6 PM EST until Monday, September 2, 2024, at 6 PM EST. The final submission will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 6 PM EST. $1,000 advance, publication by Press 53 as a Tom Lombardo Poetry Selection, and 53 copies awarded to an outstanding, unpublished poetry manuscript of approximately 50-120 pages. If a Runner-Up is also selected: $500 advance, publication by Press 53 as a Tom Lombardo Poetry Selection, and 25 copies. Poet must be 18 or older, living in the US or one of its territories. Radar Poetry is now open to submissions for the 11th annual Coniston Prize, judged by January Gill O’Neil! The Coniston Prize recognizes an exceptional group of poems by a woman writing in English. Any poet who identifies as a woman is eligible. The winner will receive $1,000, and up to 10 finalists will also be awarded $175.
