The nonprofit Friends of the Belén Public Library operates Books on Becker. Your purchases will help fund vital Library programs, as well as scholarships for local college-bound high school seniors.

The SOMOS Bookshop is stocked with used books donated by the Taos community as well as new books written by regional authors. A volunteer staff maintains and sells the books. Our used book inventory numbers around 8,000 and is categorized into 75 sections. The books sell for a nominal price. Sales proceeds go to SOMOS, a non-profit organization which programs events of benefit to authors, poets, and readers.
