We opened our doors at this location in 2007, hosting a bookstore, inviting bar, and two event spaces. The Robeson Room, named after 20th-century renaissance man Paul Robeson, the larger of the two, seats about 80 people, and is where open mics, author events, and higher-attendance happenings take place. The smaller events space Paul’s Den seats about 40 people. Paul’s Den hosts our monthly book club and private gatherings.

The Blue Whale sells books, original prints, and antiquarian maps. We have about 20,000 used books, and hundreds of antiquarian/rare books.
